About the event
The Coaching in Health Care (CiHC) program enhances professional and personal interactions within the healthcare field by developing crucial interpersonal skills. This program goes beyond technical expertise, focusing on the often-overlooked skills essential for effective collaboration and patient care. Participants will refine their ability to listen with the intent to truly understand others, master paraphrasing, and build competence in asking meaningful questions. The program also emphasizes creating a safe environment for conversations, increasing self-awareness, and fostering resilience.
CiHC utilizes an experiential learning approach, blending active learning with reflective practices to bridge the gap between theory and real-world application. The training is adaptable, allowing customization to meet specific needs and contexts. Participants engage in their own scenarios of healthcare challenges, ensuring the skills gained directly apply to their work. The program also cultivates a safe learning community, encouraging connection and a sense of belonging.
The skills acquired through CiHC lead to transformative interactions, elevating practice to meet the demands of modern healthcare. Past participants have reported profound improvements in listening, deeper connections in conversations, and more satisfying outcomes in patient care.
